La 4ème conférence dans cette série s'intitule "3 figures d’architecture moderne en Algérie (Miquel-Simounet-Pouillon)" animé par Carlo Atzeni, ingénieur civil, docteur en génie du bâtiment et professeur titulaire en architecture technique à la faculté ingénierie et d’architecture de Cagliari. Et Silvia Mocci, ingénieur et architecte, et doctorante en génie du bâtiment au DICAAR de université de Cagliari, actuellement professeur contractée en technologie de l’architecture à université de Sassari.

Ils ont co-écrit ensemble le livre “Modernità resiliente. Esperienze d'habitat in Algeria” , Le volume traite notamment des réalités algériennes peu étudiées (Aéro-habitat de Louis Miquel ; Climat de France et Diar el-MahQoul par Fernand Pouillon ; Djenan el-Hasan et Timgad par Roland Simounet et bien d’autres…) Dans ces propositions, la dimension de l'habitat horizontal et vertical (entre l'individuel et le collectif) et les systèmes hybrides de "casbah verticale" explorent différents modèles de relation entre les tissus et les espaces ouverts. Cette présentation s’articule autour de ce grand travail de recherche.

"MAMMAWEEKTALKS" is a series of live lectures on Instagram that we are putting in a documentation format with public access.

The 4th lecture in this series is entitled "3 figures of modern architecture in Algeria (Miquel-Simounet-Pouillon)" led by Carlo Atzeni, civil engineer, doctor in building engineering and full professor in technical architecture at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture in Cagliari. And Silvia Mocci, engineer and architect, and doctoral student in building engineering at the DICAAR of the University of Cagliari, currently contracted professor in architectural technology at the University of Sassari.

They co-authored the book "Modernità resiliente. Esperienze d'habitat in Algeria", the volume deals in particular with little-studied Algerian realities (Aéro-habitat by Louis Miquel; Climat de France and Diar el-MahQoul by Fernand Pouillon; Djenan el-Hasan and Timgad by Roland Simounet and many others...) In these proposals, the dimension of horizontal and vertical habitat (between the individual and the collective) and the hybrid systems of "vertical kasbah" explore different models of relationship between fabrics and open spaces. This presentation revolves around this major research work.
