Exhibition "Sharing is Saving”

From July 3 to 22, 2022

MAMMA's contributions between 2016 and 2021

MAMMA celebrates its fifth anniversary. This first chapter looks back at a significant period of awareness-raising and promotion of the urban architectural heritage of the second half of the 20th century. This pioneering period of Moroccan modernism has left us a legacy rich in lessons and a body of theory that continues to resonate today.

The "Sharing is Saving" exhibition is the culmination of all these activities and is structured around three main themes: archiving, research, and sharing. The "Archiving" section will give visitors access to all the documents collected and produced (plans, photos, testimonials, etc.) and publications related to this period (books, magazines, articles, etc.). The "Research" section will highlight our scientific and intellectual contribution in various journals and publications (MAMMA Trip Discoveries 2017, Modern Casablanca Map 2019). The final section, "Sharing", will shed light on all our awareness-raising activities (guided tours, heritage days, architects' centenaries, awareness-raising workshops, conferences, and workshops, etc.).

The exhibition was hosted by Thinkart

ThinkArt is a platform for meetings, reflection and exhibitions around contemporary creation and curatorial practices founded in Casablanca by Salma Lahlou in 2015.
